Why are we called Flight Level 180? As most of us know, FL180 is a special altitude. Flight Level 180, or FL180, in the United States is known as the transition altitude. At this altitude aircraft are required to adjust their altimeter setting to 29.92", and ATC must be vigilant to maintain safety separations and avoid potential conflicts. That is our mission and goal, when you transition to working with FL180 on your specific aircraft needs, we will be vigilant in meeting those needs by avoiding and, navigating any potential conflicts in your quest to buy or sell your aircraft.

HOW IT BEGAN



Flight Level 180 Aviation Services, was founded by Andre Saenz, an experienced Aviator and Entrepreneur. FL180 Aviation Services is a premier brokerage specializing in aircraft sales and acquisitions. With a deep-rooted passion for aviation, Andre has served as a U.S. Army Aviator, Helicopter EMS Pilot, Corporate & Home Office Pilot, Utility Construction Pilot, and Aerial Fire Pilot. Andre has also served as a Part 135 Chief Pilot and an Aviation Safety Manager. Driven by his love for all things aviation, and inspired by his Grandfather’s entrepreneurial spirit, Flight Level 180 Aviation Services was created, so that he may continue to serve others in their passion for aviation.
Andre currently holds an FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot License with Instrument rating, is Long Line Vertical Reference certified, Part 133 certified for external loads, Part 137 certified for agriculture water dropping operations, and is Forestry Service Carded by the U.S. Dept. of the Interior for Aerial Fire Fighting Operations. Andre is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, majoring in Aeronautical Science with a focus on Aviation Safety, and a minor in Airport Management. With more than 20 years of experience in the aviation sector and an array of credentials, he and FL180 is well-prepared to offer customized solutions that address the distinct requirements of our clients. His vast expertise guarantees that every challenge is approached with skill, accuracy, and attention to detail, delivering the necessary support for our clients to succeed.
